# Bounded revision

Use this compact checklist for a card or short-guide revision. Do not deliver
empty sections or expand it into a program. Keep editorial checks outside the
resident-facing copy.

## Version and source

- Previous version: [exact supplied identifier; retain original separately]
- Revised version: [identifier]
- Supplied evidence and feedback: [references; note representativeness limits]

## Active resident copy

[Deliver every required language, not a promise to translate it later. Put
“draft translation — awaiting competent review” beside each newly translated
copy unless actual review evidence exists. Use only supported resident actions.
For a missing route or procedure, state that it is unconfirmed. Do not convert
the gap into a resident instruction to contact an invented verifier or use a
prudent-sounding workaround.]

## Concise change and verification notes

[Map each feedback item to an edit, deferral or rejection. Keep verification
questions for the editor here, not as new resident instructions. Preserve accepted
commitments within their exact scope; mark additions as proposals.]

## Editorial preflight

Before handing off, make a short audit record in the notes:

| Resident action sentence | Supplied evidence supporting that action |
|---|---|
| [each distinct active imperative, across language equivalents] | [source excerpt or exact field] |

An empty evidence cell fails the preflight: remove that action and leave a factual
unresolved-status note. Do not fill the cell with general knowledge or label an
unsupported resident instruction “provisional” to keep it. Translation is permitted
but cannot introduce a new action. Verify previous-version attribution, actual
language copies, per-copy translation-review labels, and that the copy does not
claim the editor's proposed checks have happened.

Finish with separate draft checks and the smallest necessary resident re-test.
