Pricing experiment coordinator
Give it your costs, sales and rival prices. It plans one undoable price test, reads the result and sets the next.
Pricing experiment coordinator is a free AI agent for the job "Set your prices". Give the instructions to an AI assistant that supports the required files and tools, then review its output.

What it does
Most prices are set once and never tested. When owners do test, they read it on orders alone. A lower price nearly always sells more units, and can still earn less. Rivals cut their price, and the reflex is to cut too. This agent runs a slow price program. It works out the lowest price each product can sell for and never goes below it. When a test ends, it judges on profit per visitor, not orders. A test that can't be read is rerun once, then stopped. When a rival moves, it holds, tests or matches within your floor. Then it plans the next test, one product at a time, with a plan to undo it. It never changes a live price.
You give it
- Your price, landed cost, shipping, fees and target margin for each product
- Orders, visitors and revenue by product for the last 4 to 8 weeks
- Orders and visitors for each price in any test that ended
- Rival prices now and last time (optional)
- Competitors (optional)
- Tool connection (optional)
- Your question (optional)
You get
- A floor price for each product
- A keep, rerun or stop call on each finished test, judged on profit per visitor
- An answer to each rival move, inside your floor
- The next test: the price, three outcome cases, run length and how to undo it
- Which tests are still running and what could disturb them
Use it when
- You set prices by feel and want to test them with a safe floor.
- A price test just ended and you need to know whether to keep the new price.
- A rival cut its price and you want a calm answer, not a reflex.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the agent. In Claude Code, add it as a skill or save it in .claude/agents, then ask it to run this round.
- Attach your product costs, sales by product and results for any test that ended.
- Read the decisions. Change prices in your store yourself, or say yes to each change.
- Run it again in four weeks, or the day a test ends. It reads the saved test file.
