What it does
Bad addresses on a mailing list damage your sender reputation. This scans your Shopify customers and flags the ones likely to hurt you, and builds a suppression list you can act on. Each address is checked in order for broken format, role accounts like info@ and sales@, throwaway email domains, patterns that suggest a bounce such as keyboard mashing or long strings, plus duplicates. Plus-address aliases are marked for information only. The worst flag decides the suggested action. By default it only looks at customers who accept marketing. It reads data only, sends nothing and changes no consent.
You give it
