What it does
The amount you still owe customers in unspent gift cards, as one clear number. It reads your Shopify gift cards and adds up the open balances, which count as a future obligation to deliver goods. The total is split by the month cards were issued and by balance size, using bands you can set, such as under 10, 50, 100 and 250. Cards that have sat untouched past a set number of days are flagged as possible breakage. It only reads data and changes nothing. Share the figure with your accountant before booking anything. It needs a signed-in Shopify session with permission to read gift cards.
