What it does
A chart you can hover, zoom and pan, saved so you can drop it into a web page, report or dashboard. Give it your data and get Plotly code for it. It needs Python and the Plotly package. The skill helps you choose between the fast high-level interface and the finer-control one for the same chart. It covers more than forty chart types, from lines and bars to maps and 3D. It shows setup with a data table, how to add titles, labels and colours, and how to export the result as a standalone HTML file or an image. It suits notebooks, dashboards and presentations where people need to explore numbers.
