What it does
A focused observation form for classroom visits, with the specific things to look for and a way to record what you see as evidence. Say what you want to learn from the visit and why it is happening: coaching, peer learning, quality checks or research. The skill insists on one narrow lens, not everything. It writes look-fors that are visible behaviours, and sets up a record of observed facts kept apart from judgments. It also plans what to do afterwards, so the visit leads to a useful conversation. The design draws on classroom observation research, which warns that vague forms give unreliable results.
