What it does
Make a text document from a plain description, then turn it into the format the other person needs. You get an ODT file, or a copy in Word, PDF or HTML, without opening a word processor. The skill drives LibreOffice Writer from the command line. It builds a document, fills a template for mail merge, and converts one file or a whole folder at once. It can also script edits with Python. You need LibreOffice installed on your computer. If conversion fails, it checks for a stuck background process, the usual cause, and tidies layout problems after the change.
