What it does
A list of products in your Shopify store that have no cost, or a cost of zero, so your margin and stock value reports can be trusted. Reports built on missing costs look better than they are. It reads every variant in your catalogue and checks the cost recorded for each. You can limit it to active products, one vendor, or items in stock, and choose whether a zero cost counts as missing. It adds up how many are missing, their share of the catalogue, and the stock value affected. It only reads data and never edits anything, so it is safe to run at any time. It needs a signed-in Shopify CLI with read access to products and inventory.
