What it does
Spoken audio of your text in a natural voice, in over 90 languages, saved as a sound file you can use in videos, courses or apps. The skill uses the ElevenLabs text-to-speech service. It first checks that an API key is set, and helps you sign in if not. Then you choose a voice and a model, trading quality against speed. It writes short code in Python, JavaScript or a command line call that sends your text and saves the returned audio as an MP3. You can also pipe text straight into a command to hear it right away. It needs an ElevenLabs account, and usage may cost money.
