What it does
A short run of lessons where going outside teaches something that a classroom cannot. Each sequence has prep before, the outdoor activity and follow-up after, so the trip is never just a treat. You describe your space, class and the curriculum goal. The skill designs the learning around that goal and explains why outdoors works better than indoors for it. Students do real inquiry using the environment as the main resource. You also get a safety plan, weather and timing options, and links back to indoor learning so ideas carry on. The design is based on research showing clear learning aims and indoor-outdoor links matter most. Check school safety rules before you go.
