What it does
A list can be large and still full of people who never asked to hear from you. They ignore the messages, mark them as spam, or leave. The cost is attention you spent and trust you lost. This skill asks why each group of contacts gave you their address and whether that was an open invitation or a box buried in small print. Then it tests each message: would they miss it if it stopped, is it expected, is it personal, is it useful? It looks for signs the relationship is valued, such as replies and forwards. It ends with a few changes and the promise you made at sign-up, checked against your next three messages.
You give it
- Where your addresses come from, with the sign-up wording
- Your last ten messages
- Replies, forwards or complaints you have received (optional)
- Opens, clicks and unsubscribes by message (optional)
- Customer words (optional)
- Your results (optional)
You get
- Each contact group with its reason for contact and a permission verdict
- Each message tested for expectation, personal fit and use
- A score out of 100, with how it was worked out
- The sign-up promise and a short list of changes
Use it when
- Your list is growing but opens and replies are falling.
- You bought, borrowed or collected addresses at events and are unsure what you can send.
- You send many messages and want to know which ones to cut.

- Paste your last ten messages, subject line and body.
- Add any replies or numbers you have.
- Make the changes it lists and check the next three messages against the promise.
