What it does
Each product's margin laid out, so you can see which ones earn money and which ones lose it. Revenue alone hides this. Claude acts as a management accountant. It matches revenue to each product, then subtracts variable costs to get contribution margin. Fixed and shared costs are spread using an allocation method you agree on, giving a fully loaded margin. Actual results are compared with budget where you have one. It ends with clear moves such as dropping a loser or putting more behind a winner. You decide the segments: SKU, category or service line.
