AI Blocks › Set up AI to work for you
Project memory organizer
Point it at your project. Get small context files per folder so your AI reads less and costs less.
Project memory organizer is a free AI skill for the job "Set up AI to work for you". Give the instructions to an AI assistant that supports the required files and tools, then review its output.

What it does
Small context files for each folder in your project, so your AI reads only what it needs and your token bill drops. It stops re-reading the whole project on every prompt. The skill detects your project type, then writes a short root file of about 200 tokens and one scoped file of about 250 tokens per directory. The root file includes routing lines that tell the AI which sub-file to open. A memory folder holds decisions, reusable patterns and an inbox of guesses waiting for your approval. A dashboard shows estimated token savings, session history and how healthy the context is. Best for projects with three or more directories.
You give it
- Your project folder
- Notes you already have (optional)
- Confirmation of guessed facts in the inbox
You get
- Short root context file
- One context file per folder
- Decisions and patterns files
- Savings dashboard
Use it when
- Your AI keeps re-reading the same files and burning tokens.
- One giant CLAUDE.md is too big and mostly irrelevant to any one task.
- You are starting a project and want structured memory from day one.
- You want to see how much context you are saving.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can read and edit your project files.
