What it does
One Shopify order split into separate shipments, each with its own tracking number. You say which items ship together, for example from different locations, dates or carriers. The skill checks that the order is open and that every item you list belongs to it. It runs a dry run by default, showing the groups it would create. Only after you confirm does it run the split. The split changes a live order and cannot be undone, and the original fulfilment order is replaced by new ones. It needs the Shopify command line, a signed-in session and order and fulfilment permissions.
You give it
- Your store domain
- The fulfilment order ID
- Which items and quantities go in each shipment
- Shopify permission to read orders and write fulfilments
You get
- A dry-run preview of the shipment groups
- Separate fulfilment orders after you confirm
- A summary of what changed
Use it when
