What it does
Give it a YouTube playlist and get back every video in it, with transcripts for the ones you pick. It accepts a playlist link or ID, including a channel's uploads list. Results come in pages of 100 videos, and the skill follows the continuation token until the list is complete. Each page costs one credit on TranscriptAPI, which gives a small number of free credits and needs a key. From the list you choose which videos matter, and it fetches their transcripts one by one. That makes a course, a conference series or a creator's best-of list something you can read, search and quote without watching hours of video.
You give it
- A playlist link or ID
- Which videos you want transcripts for (optional)
- Your TranscriptAPI key
You get
- A full list of videos with titles and IDs
- Transcripts for the videos you choose
- A count of credits used
Use it when
- You found a course playlist and want it as a text list.
- You need transcripts from a conference series.
- You want a full video list from a channel's uploads.
- You want to find the one talk in a playlist worth watching.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run code and use your TranscriptAPI key.
