What it does
Your carriers are compared head to head, so you can pick the best default for each route or weight. Run it on your Shopify shipments and you see average transit days, on-time rate and shipping cost per order side by side. It reads fulfilled orders from a recent window, joins each fulfilment to the shipping line on its order, and measures delivery against the estimate the customer was given. You can split results by country or weight band and set a minimum order count so thin data is left out. Nothing in your store changes. Cost uses what the customer paid for shipping, not your negotiated rate, so add carrier invoices if you need true cost.
