What it does
Most stores guess what to pay a creator, then find out later that one post cost far more per view than their ads. CPM means the cost for every 1,000 views. If you know what your Meta ads cost per 1,000 views, you can work backwards to a fair price for a creator. This skill sets the creator's target at half your Meta CPM, multiplies it by the views their last 10 videos usually get, and cuts the fee for any part of the audience you cannot sell to. Shipped product counts as part of the cost. If you sell through a shop, it can write a floor-or-commission offer instead. It tells you to walk away when the quote is above your ceiling.
