What it does
A complete fact sheet for a demand letter, built by answering the questions that careless letters skip. It saves you from sending a letter before you know your bargaining strength, your limits, or what the other side could use against you. It begins with your posture: tone, response window and whether the letter should be marked as a settlement communication. Then it asks eight core questions on every matter, and a deeper set when the amount or risk is high. Topics include your best alternative to a deal, the downside you can accept, and what you can prove. It saves the answers as a file ready for drafting. It is a first check, not legal advice.
You give it
- Short description of the dispute
- Names of the parties and key dates
- Contracts, emails or invoices
- Your goal and what you would settle for
You get
- Completed fact sheet
- Posture notes: tone, deadline, marking
- Evidence and gaps list
- File ready for the drafting step
Use it when
- Someone owes you money and you want to write to them but are unsure of your position.
- You must decide how aggressive the letter should be.
- You want your facts, dates and documents in one place before a lawyer sees them.
- Several people on your team send demand letters and the quality varies.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can read your saved legal setup notes and save files.
- Where the skill points to /litigation-legal:cold-start-interview, use the setup-interview folder inside it. We copied it in so the skill works on its own.
