What it does
A short run of lessons that teach students to name feelings and handle them, based on the RULER approach from Yale. Describe the situation in your class, and you get a plan you can teach. This is classroom practice, not medical or clinical advice. The plan builds on four tools. The Charter sets class agreements. The Mood Meter helps students label feelings by energy and pleasantness. The Meta-Moment is a pause before reacting. The Blueprint walks through conflict. You give the context, such as exam anxiety, and the year group. Optional details are time available, subject and past use of RULER.
You give it
- The situation in your class
- Year group
- Time available (optional)
- Students' past experience with RULER (optional)
You get
