What it does
When two people disagree, each reads the same facts and sees support for their own view. Arguing further rarely helps. What helps is agreeing before any result comes in on what would count as evidence, and writing down what each side expects to see. This skill restates each side's claim in terms the other side would sign. It lists the points both already accept, which shrinks the dispute. It designs one test that could prove either side wrong, has each side write a prediction and what result would change their mind, and names a neutral person to run it. It also plans for the test settling nothing, and writes a review for afterward.
You give it
- The dispute, and the claim each side makes
- What each side points to as evidence
- What can be measured, tried or compared within your time and budget (optional)
You get
- Each side's claim, in words the other accepts
- A list of points both already agree on
- One test that could embarrass each side, and the predictions to write down
- A neutral recorder, a follow-up if it settles nothing, and a review plan
Use it when
- Two people on your team disagree on what is working, such as an ad, a hire or a price.
- A partner or client holds a view you think is wrong, and talking has stalled.
- You are about to test something and want the result to count.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Describe the dispute from each side, as fairly as you can. Ask the other person to read it.
- Check each restated claim with the person who holds it. Fix any wording they reject.
- Both sides fill in the prediction card before the test runs. Hand the card to the neutral person.
- Run the test, then use the review page to record results and what is still open.
