What it does
A person with one favourite tool tends to see every problem as fitting it. A founder sees only marketing, an engineer only systems, an accountant only the numbers. The cure is to carry a few big ideas from many fields and run through them in a fixed order, so no field is skipped because it did not come to mind. This skill runs your case through that list and writes a short answer for each field, including "nothing useful here" when that is true. It then looks for forces that stack up in one direction, which can give extreme results, and for forces that conflict, which give trade-offs.
You give it
- The plan or problem, with what you want from it
- The numbers you have: money, volumes, time (optional)
- Which field you or your team lean on most (optional)
- Your question (optional)
You get
- A short answer from each field, rated as pushing for, against, or neutral
- The places where two or more fields agree and the result could be extreme
- The clashes and the trade-off each one creates
- The facts you still need, and the field you leaned on too much
Use it when
- You are about to commit to a plan and only one kind of expert has looked at it.
- Something surprising happened and you want to know why, from more than one angle.
- You feel sure, and you want to check you are not just using your favourite tool.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your plan or problem. Add numbers if you have them.
- Say which tool you or your team reach for first. It will check that field last.
- Pick the top two findings and test them before you act.
