What it does
A group task where learners build an answer together and share the blame or credit for it. Give it a topic and you get a task design built on the Ubuntu idea that a person is a person through other people. The task is made so no one can finish alone: each member holds a piece of the knowledge, and the group result only works when pieces are combined. It sets shared goals, a way for the group to check each other's understanding, and a reflection step. It suits classes that tend to split into individual work, and it comes with a note on how strong the research behind the approach is.
