Issue triager
Point it at open issues and outside pull requests. Get each one sorted, checked and written up as a clear brief.

What it does
A backlog where every open issue and outside pull request has a clear status and a brief someone can act on. Point it at your tracker. It gives each item one category, bug or enhancement, and one state: needs triage, needs info, ready for an agent, ready for a human, or will not fix. It checks each item against your out-of-scope notes and asks reporters for missing details. For items ready for an agent, it writes a durable brief that says what to do and what done looks like. Pull requests count as issues with code attached. Every comment it posts starts with a note that AI wrote it, and clashing labels come to you first.
You give it
- Access to your issue tracker
- Your label names for each role
- Your out-of-scope notes (optional)
- Which issues or pull requests to triage
You get
- Each item labelled with a category and state
- Questions for reporters who left gaps
- Agent-ready task briefs
- An out-of-scope record for rejected ideas
Use it when
- Your issue list has grown and nobody knows what is next.
- Outside contributors sent pull requests and you need to sort them.
- You want to hand clear tasks to a coding agent.
- You keep rejecting the same kinds of requests and want a record of why.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can reach your issue tracker.
