What it does
Tell your AI what work needs tracking and it reads, creates or updates the Linear issues for you. No tab switching, no copying details by hand. First it checks that the Linear connection is set up, and if not, walks you through adding it and logging in. Then it confirms your goal, such as triage or sprint planning, along with the team, project, priority, labels and due dates. It picks the right Linear tools and runs the calls in sensible batches. It checks IDs before changing anything. You need a Linear account and a one-time login.
You give it
- The work to create or change
- Team and project
- Priority, labels and due dates (optional)
- A Linear account and login
You get
- New Linear issues
- Updated tickets
- A summary of issues you asked about
- Setup steps for the Linear connection
Use it when
- You just left a meeting and want its action items as tickets.
- You need to triage a pile of new issues quickly.
- You want to update many ticket statuses in one request.
- You are planning a sprint and want the backlog read back to you.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can reach your Linear workspace.
