What it does

A Mermaid diagram of your flow, system or database that you can paste straight into docs, a README or a wiki. Describe it in words and get working diagram code, not a drawing you must redo. It picks the chart type that fits: flowchart, sequence, entity relationship, state, Gantt, user flow, timeline and more. It keeps the chart readable by avoiding clutter, using steady styling and adding short labels. It adds comments in the code where the syntax is tricky, checks it will render in your Mermaid version, and offers other chart types when they would work better. It escapes untrusted labels and does not turn on click scripts.
