What it does
A phone screen design that fits the platform and has been checked for risk before anyone builds it. It treats the phone as a phone, not a small desktop. Before designing, the skill asks which platform you target, then scores the screen on five points: how clear the platform is, how complex the touches are, how heavy it is on speed, how much it needs a network, and how well it works for people with different abilities. The score runs from minus 10 to plus 10. A low score means simplify first. Then it designs with thumb reach, touch size and offline states in mind.
You give it
- A description of the screen and what the user does there
- Target platform, iOS, Android or both
- Who will use it, including any access needs
- Brand colors or style notes (optional)
You get
- A risk score with the reasons behind it
- A touch-first screen layout
- Platform-specific design notes
- Offline and loading states
- Changes to make if the score is low
Use it when
- You are sketching the first screen of an iOS or Android app.
- A design looks good on a laptop and you worry it will feel wrong on a phone.
- You want to know which screens are risky before paying a developer.
- You need the screen to work when the signal drops.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
