What it does
Shoppers decide fast. On a shelf, a collection page or a marketplace grid, they have a moment to see what a product is. A pack that looks great on its own can vanish among rivals, and a clean design in your brand deck can fail where the product really sits. This skill gives you a simple test to run with five strangers: show the front for 2 to 3 seconds beside rivals, then ask what it is, which type or flavour, what it is not and why this one. It scores their answers, 25 points per question, and finds the weak spot. Then it suggests a clear colour cue for each variant, the few claims that belong on the front, and one or two changes against the category. It ends with a plan to compare the old and new version by sales speed, in the same place and period.
You give it
- Your pack front or main image, as a file
- A screenshot of three rivals in the same view, such as a shelf, grid or collection page
- What five strangers said after a 2 to 3 second look
- Sales by pack version, with dates and where sold (optional)
- Competitors (optional)
- Your results (optional)
You get
- A glance score out of 100, with the sum shown, and the question where the pack is weakest
- Pack changes, with a colour cue for the variant, the few claims for the front, and what is fixed by rules
- A plan to compare old and new in the same channel, with the measure to use
Use it when
- You are redesigning a pack, label or main product image and want proof it reads fast.
- Your product sells well on its own site but poorly next to rivals on a marketplace or shelf.
- You have two pack versions and need a fair way to compare them.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Attach your pack front and a screenshot with three rivals, and ask it for the test script.
- Show the front to five strangers for 2 to 3 seconds beside the rivals, then ask the four questions and write down each answer.
- Paste the answers and read the score and the weakest question first.
- Change one or two things, then compare old and new in the same channel before you print or upload everything.
