The skill first classifies your product as bought for pleasure or for a job, since that changes what works. For pre-orders it picks gift or discount based on how far away the launch is: a gift for three weeks or more, a discount if it is close. It then advises on bundles, free bonus wording, unit caps and urgency, and warns about promo mechanics that backfire. It sticks to promotions, not plain price cuts or everyday pricing.
