What it does
Your project vision and decisions captured in a README and short decision records, written from a quick interview. You answer a few questions at a time, and your taste and reasoning end up saved as plain text. Before anything else it reads your existing docs, since other people and agents may have added to them. Then it asks, listens, and writes. The README holds the vision, and a docs folder holds one record per decision, with what you chose and why. Over time the files become what a new teammate or AI agent reads to understand your project. Each pass checks the docs first, so nothing is overwritten by accident.
You give it
- Your project folder
- Time to answer short questions
- Existing README or notes (optional)
- Your question (optional)
- Codebase (optional)
You get
- README with the project vision
- Decision records, one per choice
- Reasons behind each decision
- Updated docs after each session
Use it when
- You have a project in your head and nothing written down.
- Your team keeps re-debating decisions that were already made.
- A new AI agent needs context on how you work.
- You want a README that states vision, not only install steps.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can read and save files in your project.
