What it does
A list of redirects in your Shopify store that point through other redirects or share the same target, so shoppers and search engines reach the page faster. Nothing in the store is changed. It reads every URL redirect through the Shopify Admin connection, 250 at a time. It then follows each target to see if that page is redirected again, which makes a chain from A to B to C. It also groups redirects that all point to one destination. You get a readable report or JSON. You need a Shopify store login through the CLI with read access to content. Fixing the chains is a separate step you do after reviewing the list.
