What it does
An advertorial is an ad written like an article. It is a lot of work, and it only helps when your ads already work. It repeats and deepens a message that people clicked on and bought from. It rarely saves a message that nobody wanted. This skill reads each live ad and finds four things: who it speaks to, the problem and desire, the angle and the reason it works. A thing counts as proven only if the ad that carries it breaks even or better. The skill then rates how much the ad sells on its own. The less the ad sells, the more the page must sell, so the page runs longer. The more the ad sells, the shorter the page. It also checks that the person, promise and tone stay the same from ad to headline to first image.
You give it
- Your current ads (text or screenshots), with spend and whether each breaks even
- Product type, either an improvement on a known product or a new gadget (optional)
- The draft or planned advertorial (optional)
- Your results (optional)
- A draft (optional)
You get
- A go or no-go with the reason, and a score out of 100
- The four proven or unproven things found in each ad
- Recommended page length, style and where the product should appear
- A list of mismatches between ad and page
Use it when
- You have a winning ad and want to know whether a long article-style page is worth building.
- You are about to brief a writer or an AI and need to know how long the page should be.
- An advertorial is live but converts below your product page, and you suspect the ad and page don't match.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Attach your live ads as files or paste their text, and add spend and break-even status for each.
- Say whether the product improves on something known or is a new gadget.
- If you have a draft page, paste it in too.
- If the answer is no-go, test the message on a plain product page first, then come back.
