What it does
An advertorial is an ad written like an article. It works while it reads like a story. Each time it slips into a sales pitch, some readers close the tab. The same goes for beliefs: if a buyer must believe three things to buy and the page moves only two, the page stalls. This skill reads the draft like a chapter in a book and marks every sentence where the story stops and the selling starts. Then it checks eight things: that it speaks to one person, that the story flows, the before and after, the mechanism, the beliefs, the objections, the buttons and the images. Each check adds up to a score out of 100 that shows what was measured. A separate honesty line checks the ad label and fakes, and any fail there blocks publishing, whatever the score.
You give it
- The advertorial draft, or its URL and screenshots
- The avatar and the ad it follows (optional)
- The foundation docs (research, avatar sheet, offer brief and necessary beliefs), optional
- Brand brain (optional)
- A buyer brief (optional)
- Ad copy (optional)
You get
- A list of sentences where the story turns into a pitch, with a rewrite for each
- A pass, part or fail for each of eight checks
- Button and image fixes
- A score out of 100 with the sum shown, and the fixes in order
Use it when
- Your advertorial draft is done and you want a read before you spend on traffic.
- An advertorial is live but readers drop off halfway and you don't know where.
- Your AI wrote the page and you want to check it hits every belief the buyer needs.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the draft, or attach screenshots of the live page.
- Add the ad, the avatar and your foundation docs if you have them.
- Fix the story breaks first, then the failed checks in the order listed.
- Read the page yourself once more, start to end, before it goes live.
