What it does
A review list of Shopify customers whose return habits stand out, for your team to check before approving the next return. It never blocks, limits or flags anyone on its own, because honest customers often return things for good reasons like sizing. It reads orders, returns and customers for a window you set, 365 days by default. It looks for three patterns: a return rate of 40 percent or more, full-order returns soon after delivery, which is sometimes called wardrobing, and five or more returns in total. Customers with fewer than three orders are skipped. You can change every threshold. It needs a Shopify CLI session with read access to orders, returns and customers.
You give it
- Your Shopify store domain
- A logged-in Shopify CLI session with read access
- Lookback days (optional)
- Custom thresholds (optional)
You get
- A candidate list of unusual returners
- The pattern that flagged each one
- Return rates and counts per customer
- A human or JSON output
Use it when
- Return costs are rising and you want to see who drives them.
- Support needs a list to check before approving another refund.
- You suspect some customers buy to wear once and return.
- You want to tune what counts as too many returns for your store.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can access your Shopify admin (read only).
