What it does
Fast fixes for the IT problems that land on you when nobody on the team has IT in their title. You name the problem, like a locked-out user, a Wi-Fi drop or a laptop that will not start, and get steps ordered by how many people it hits. The skill triages first. It asks how many people are affected and whether revenue is at risk, then ranks company-wide outages above single laptops. Runbooks cover sign-in lockouts in Google Workspace, with commands for resetting passwords, unsuspending users and issuing backup codes, plus network, device and onboarding trouble. Some steps need admin access, so check the commands before running them on live accounts.
You give it
- A description of the problem
- How many people are affected
- Your tools, like Google Workspace
- Admin access when needed (optional)
You get
- Problems ranked by impact
- Step by step fixes
- Commands for common admin tasks
- A note on what to check before you run them
Use it when
- Someone is locked out of their work account at midnight.
- The office Wi-Fi keeps dropping before a client demo.
- A new hire starts Monday and has no accounts.
- You are the accidental IT person and need a plan.
