What it does
A classroom activity where students test AI on a subject they know well and catch what it gets wrong or leaves out. Name the subject, such as a sport, a local place or a school topic, and the students' age and level. The skill builds the task around their real expertise. Students ask the AI questions, then look for wrong facts, missing detail, flattened nuance and answers that sound too sure. You choose surface checks like names and dates, or deeper ones like cultural blind spots. It also plans how to share findings: alone, in pairs, or as a class pooling what they found.
You give it
- The subject students know well
- Their age or year group and depth of knowledge
- Depth of checking, surface or deep (optional)
- Which AI tool they will use (optional)
You get
- A step-by-step student activity
- Question prompts for the AI
- A checklist of error types to look for
- A discussion plan
- Reflection questions
Use it when
- You teach AI literacy and want a hands-on lesson.
- Students know a topic better than an AI tool does.
- You want pupils to question AI answers, not accept them.
- You need a plan for discussing what students found.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
