What it does
A review of your SQL query before it goes live, listing wrong-result risks and slow spots, ranked by impact. Paste the query and name the engine: Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres or Redshift. The skill lints the syntax, then compares the structure to a list of known bad patterns, such as hidden type conversions, SELECT star and endless CTEs. If you have a query plan, it pulls out the slow steps like full table scans. It also estimates whether a join could multiply rows by surprise, and checks engine-specific date and window behaviour. Findings come as a filled review sheet with rewrite options.
You give it
- The SQL query
- The database engine
- Table layouts and row counts (optional)
- The query plan (optional)
- What the query should calculate (optional)
- A buyer brief (optional)
You get
- Syntax and lint results
- Wrong-result risks by severity
- Slow steps from the query plan
- Join fan-out warnings
- Rewrites ranked by impact
Use it when
- A query is about to power a production dashboard.
- A report shows numbers that look wrong.
- A query runs slowly and nobody knows the cause.
- You want a second pair of eyes before a launch.
How to use it
