What it does
Conversion rate is easy to move and hard to read. Turn off your cold ads and it jumps overnight, though nothing on the page changed. Shopify's own numbers add to the muddle: total sales include tax, average order value leaves out the shipping you collected, and sessions include bots. This skill fixes those three, then works out revenue per visitor (conversion rate times order value) and gross profit per visitor (that times your margin). It shows how your mix of cold and warm traffic sets your blended conversion rate, so you stop comparing yourself with other brands. It also links conversion to what a new customer costs, and lists what to track each week. It covers the store parts only, not a general split by source.
