What it does
Picking the one number your startup should chase this quarter, and dropping the rest from the wall. You describe your business type and stage, and get a single main metric, a partner metric that stops it being gamed, and a short list to watch. The method comes from the book Lean Analytics. It separates metrics that change a decision from vanity totals like cumulative signups. It rewrites totals as ratios, splits data by signup month and by channel, and asks you to set a target, a date and a pre-agreed response if you miss. It can also score your current dashboard from 0 to 10 and list what to fix.
