What it does
Most store break-ins start with a weak login, a leaver who still has access or an app nobody remembers installing. On a hosted store such as Shopify, the platform secures the servers, checkout and card data. You secure the logins, the apps, your staff and how you handle customer data. Many owners never write that list down. This skill splits the job that way first. Then it checks 8 basics: two-step sign-in, who has access, apps, card data handling, backups, phishing habits, password habits and code changes. Each check earns full, half or no points. Checks that do not apply to your store are left out, and the score is worked out on the rest. You get the fixes in order, plus a short routine to repeat every quarter.
You give it
- Your platform (Shopify or another hosted platform, or a self-hosted store)
- Each person with admin access, their role and whether they are staff or a contractor
- Your installed apps with the permissions each one has (copy them from the apps page)
- Whether a developer works on your theme or custom code, and whether it is in version control (optional)
- Where backups of your products, customers and theme live (optional)
- Store capture (optional)

How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your platform, your admin list with roles, and your app list with permissions.
- Say who works on your code and where backups live, if you know.
- Do the "today" fixes straight away, then book the "this month" and "this quarter" ones.
- Run it again in three months and compare the score.
