What it does
A list of continuity slips in your novel or long story: names that drift, ages that do not add up, objects from the wrong era and clues that are planted but never paid off. Re-reading will not catch these, because the memory that wrote the draft is the same memory that reads it. The fix is a story bible, which is the facts of your story as a list, plus a mechanical check of the prose against it. For each hit, the skill asks one question: is the manuscript wrong, or is the bible out of date? It does not write, outline or polish. It checks and reports. It works on long manuscripts and comes with a small script.
You give it
- Your manuscript or chapters
- Story facts, such as names, ages, dates and places
- The setting and time period
- Planted clues to track (optional)
You get
- A list of continuity errors with locations
- Name and age mismatches
- Era mistakes
- Unresolved plot threads
- A verdict on each: fix the text or the notes
Use it when
- Your character is 18 in chapter one and 23 in chapter twelve with no time passing.
- A name changed spelling somewhere in the middle of the book.
- You wrote a historical story and fear modern objects crept in.
- You planted a key or secret and cannot remember if it was resolved.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run code and read your files.
