What it does
Most stores keep a list of test ideas ranked by whoever speaks loudest. Everything scores nine out of ten, and the team tests button colors. Worse, the idea with the best proof often sits at the bottom because it is hard to build. This skill ranks by evidence first. Each idea must have at least two kinds of proof, such as a heatmap and a survey answer. Then it scores yes or no questions (is it above the fold, on a busy page, noticeable in five seconds, easy to build), and finally weighs the top ideas by what they could earn in gross profit. Broken things go to a fix list, because you repair them instead of testing them. You end with one or two tests to run and a reason for each idea that waits.
You give it
- Your ideas or problems, each with the evidence behind it (recording, heatmap, survey line, funnel drop)
- Traffic, conversion rate and gross profit per order for the page each idea touches
- Build effort for each idea, in hours or as low, medium or high
- Your monthly orders (optional)
- Your results (optional)
- Customer words (optional)
You get
- Each idea written as a hypothesis with a main metric and a smallest lift worth shipping
- A ranked leaderboard with evidence points and a profit estimate
- The one or two tests to run first, and the rest parked with a reason
- A fix list for anything broken
Use it when
- You finished your research and have more ideas than traffic to test them.
- Your team argues about what to test next and nobody has numbers.
- You want your test list to rest on proof, not on opinions.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your ideas. Next to each, write what you saw that points to it.
- Add traffic, conversion rate and gross profit per order for each page, and rough build effort.
- Read the leaderboard, then run the top test through the readiness checker to size it.
- Move parked ideas up when new evidence arrives.
Workflows that use it
- Find the store change most worth testing
- Find where your page loses buyers and prove the fix
- Read a finished store test and pick the next one
- Store test program runner
