What it does
A list of gaps between your setup and the UK Cyber Essentials standard, plus what to fix before you apply. You find out about a failure before you pay for the test. You describe your devices, cloud services, home working and who uses what. The skill checks the five control themes: firewalls, secure setup, updates, user access and malware protection. It flags the automatic fail points, such as missing multi-factor login on cloud services and updates older than 14 days. It also applies the scope rules for cloud, personal devices and remote staff, and explains how Plus testing differs. It states which question set version applies, and lists current prices by company size.
