What it does
Looking at ad numbers every hour makes owners jumpy. Mid-day, blended ROAS (all your revenue divided by all your ad spend) can look weak because the day's emails haven't gone out. A weak week can lead to a discount, and a discount can hide a bigger problem. This skill gives you one weekly pulse. It reads blended ROAS first, then new-customer ROAS and CAC (the cost to get a new customer), CPM and spend by channel. It adds email capture, discount share and large orders. It tells you what moved and what to pull, in order: emails and drops first, creative and budget next, a discount last. The method comes from two large brands, so use it as practice and test it on your own store.
You give it
- This week's and last week's blended ROAS, new-customer ROAS, CAC, CPM and spend by channel
- Emails and texts sent, product drops launched and sign-ups captured
- Discount as a percent of sales and large orders per day
- Your goals for ROAS and CAC (optional)
- Whether the numbers were pulled mid-day (optional)
- Spreadsheet (optional)
You get
- A pulse table with last week, this week, the change and a flag for each number
- A health score out of 100 with the sum shown
- Levers to pull, in order, each with the number that supports it
- A bull case, bear case and daily pace
Use it when
- You want one weekly check of your store's marketing instead of checking numbers all day.
- Blended ROAS dropped and you're tempted to run a discount.
- Your sales are up but you suspect discounts are doing the work.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste this week's and last week's numbers, and say what your goals are.
- Say whether the numbers were pulled mid-day or at the end of the week.
- Pull the first lever it lists, then give it a week before judging the change.
