What it does
Ten title ideas checked against hard limits, with a thumbnail brief for the winner. The title and thumbnail are planned as one unit so they do not say the same thing twice. A Python tool checks each title against 60 characters, where desktop search cuts it, and 40, where the mobile feed does. It flags a thumbnail that repeats the title, more than three words on the thumbnail, and more than two all-caps words in a title. You see the top three titles with scores and the exact issue on each. For the winner you get a brief covering expression, framing, the three thumbnail words.
You give it
- Your video idea or finished video summary
- Draft titles or a draft thumbnail text (optional)
- Your voice notes (optional)
You get
- Ten titles scored for length and style
- The top three with their issues
- A thumbnail brief with three words or fewer
- A closing question: ship it or change it
Use it when
- You finished a video and have only a vague title.
- You suspect your title and thumbnail repeat each other.
- You want to see how a title looks cut off on mobile.
- You need a thumbnail brief for a designer.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run Python code.
