What it does
Most store owners read the warehouse total, see it is close, and pay. But a bill is built from rates times your own volumes, so you can rebuild it. One operator said 30 to 40 percent of the brands he works with had been overcharged by couriers or their 3PL. That is his own estimate, not a study, but it is a good reason to check. This skill rebuilds each line: pick and pack from your orders, outbound from your parcels by weight and zone, inbound from units received, and storage from pallets or bins. It flags lines above your tolerance, checks delivered-on-time and pick time, and compares the cost per order with last month. The score is the share of lines that match, with the formula shown.
You give it
- The 3PL invoice with its charge lines
- The rate card from your agreement
- Your Shopify orders and units for the same period
- A courier invoice, and your agreed pick time and penalty (optional)
You get
- Expected cost for each line against the billed cost, with the working
- A list of overcharges with amounts
- A match score out of 100, with the formula shown
- A dispute note for you to send
Use it when
- Your 3PL invoice arrives each month and you pay it without checking.
- Your cost per order crept up and nobody changed a rate.
- Orders were late and you want to claim the penalty your agreement allows.
