Biology model fitter
Give it a model and measured data. Get parameters fitted, patients simulated and drug levels computed.
Biology model fitter is a free AI skill for the job "Build and ship software". Give the instructions to an AI assistant that supports the required files and tools, then review its output.

What it does
Hand over a SimBiology model and measured data, and get back fitted parameters you can trust, along with simulated patients and drug exposure numbers. It saves you from the usual trial and error with fitting calls. The skill sets up each fit through one declared problem object instead of loose function calls. Your data goes into a grouped table, with the response mapped to a model species and bounds set on each parameter. From there it can run population mixed-effects fits, generate virtual patients, and run non-compartmental analysis to give AUC, Cmax, Tmax, half-life and clearance. It runs in MATLAB with SimBiology.
You give it
- A SimBiology model
- Measured data with a group and time column
- Which parameters to estimate, with bounds
- Dosing details (optional)
You get
- Fitted parameter estimates
- Fit quality checks and plots
- A set of virtual patients
- Exposure numbers such as AUC and Cmax
Use it when
- You have lab or trial data and need to estimate a model's parameters.
- You are building a population PK or PD model with variation between people.
- You need virtual patients that match an observed group.
- You want AUC, Cmax and half-life from concentration data.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run MATLAB with SimBiology.
