What it does
A board or investor deck outline where the story comes first and the numbers back it up. Each section has a headline, the data, a short narrative and a next step or ask, so directors know what you want from them. The deck starts with a three-sentence summary: where the business stands, the biggest event this period, and where it heads next. It then pulls in a view from each leadership role. Bad news goes up front with a plan, not buried. If you do not give a figure, it leaves a clear placeholder and never makes one up. Tell it your stage and cadence, such as a quarterly Series A deck.
