What it does
Shoppers who cannot find a product leave. A store with "legging" on one product and "leggings" on another gets two filter values. A menu with every default link stalls buyers. A collection built by hand goes out of date every time you add a product. This skill plans the structure before you build it. It sets one spelling for each product type and tag, makes tags drive smart collections, picks filters by what big competitors use and what shoppers ask, and builds a short menu around the different ways people look: by product type, by use and by gender. It checks that any product is reachable in two to three clicks and sets up search with synonyms. It is written for Shopify. The logic carries to other platforms, but the names change.
You give it
- A product list with type, material, colour, size, price and audience
- How shoppers search for your products
- Two or three competitor store menus (optional)
- Your catalogue size, platform and theme
- Your current menu and collections, if any (optional)
- Competitors (optional)
You get
- A tag and product type list to use everywhere
- Collections with the type (manual or smart) and the rule for each
- A filter list, in order of importance
- A menu tree up to three levels, a click-depth check and search settings
Use it when
- You are setting up a new store and have products but no collections or menu yet.
- Your menu has grown messy, or shoppers tell you they cannot find things.
- You have 30 or more products and need filters that work.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your product list and say how many products you have.
- Add two or three competitor menus if you can, and how shoppers describe what they want.
- Fix the tags and types in your store first, in the bulk editor, then build the collections.
- Count the clicks from the homepage to a few products, and tell it if any take more than three.
