What it does
A brief that tells a writer exactly what to write, so the first draft comes back close to done. It replaces the thin version of a keyword, a word count and a deadline. Claude fills twelve fields that earn their place, including search intent, reader, outline, key terms, links to include, the angle and what a good result looks like. It leaves out fields that add length but no help. The brief sits between your content plan and the actual writing, and it works for a human writer or an AI one. You can also paste in existing briefs and ask Claude to audit why they produce weak content.
You give it
- A topic and target keyword
- The reader and goal of the piece
- Competing pages to beat (optional)
- Links you want included (optional)
You get
- A twelve-field brief
- A search intent summary
- A section-by-section outline
- Key terms and links to use
Use it when
- Writers keep returning drafts that miss the point.
- You are handing a topic to a freelancer or an AI and need clear instructions.
- You want content that matches what searchers actually want.
- Your current briefs run long but still leave gaps.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
