What it does
A company's weighted average cost of capital with every input shown, so you can use it in a valuation or a capital budget and defend it. You see the cost of equity, cost of debt and the weights that produce the final rate. The skill takes market inputs: risk-free rate, equity risk premium, beta, debt, equity and tax rate. It unlevers and relevers beta to match the target capital structure, uses market value of debt, and computes the cost of equity with CAPM. Then it weights each source and gives a written memo with the formula and every number. Scripts and reference files back the calculation, so you can rerun it with new assumptions.
